Before- Client wanted door and window replaced. New window where door was and sliding glass door where window was. Build deck.
Client wanted door and window replaced, awning over window removed. Put new window where door was, new sliding glass door where window was. Build floating deck with steps on 2 sides. Drywall and trim interior. Exterior was not sided. Client will replace all siding at a later date.

Client called because they thought they needed a window replaced because of water coming into bedroom by the window. After inspecting window and going into the attic, we found the roof was leaking. Further inspections showed that roof was not properly installed. Client had the roof replaced several years ago (by a different company) The valleys were overlapping the wrong direction causing water to go under the shingles. Also boots on vents should go over the water and ice shield but they were under which caused leaks. Top three pictures are before we replaced the roof. Last two pictures are after.

Improper Roof Valley that caused leak
Roof leaked because previous roofer put vent boot under water and ice shield instead of over it.
Improper Water & Ice Shield placement caused roof leak. Vent boot should have been over, not under.

This house had cedar siding and wood windows that had to be scraped, sanded, primed and painted. A window at the back of the house was removed and a French door installed. A two level deck was built. The Deck is free-standing. It is not attached to the house. Lower deck required extra support for a hot tub. A privacy wall was built on both sides of the deck. The gate on the railing can lock from the inside.
